I don't have a boat! Now what!
Kayaks and canoes, paddles and safety vests are available for rent at Three Rivers Outfitters. Please contact them at least two days before the event to arrange your rentals.
If I pre-register, do I have to go to the registration tent?
Yes, all paddlers will be required to sign a waiver in the presence of a staff volunteer.
I'll be a passenger/paddler, do I have to pay?
No you do not; however, lunch and a t-shirt will not be available to those persons not registered. A $25.00 passenger donation entiles you to lunch and the commemorative T-shirt -- see the registration page!
I don't want to participate in the paddle; can I just come and watch for free?
Yes, you can! Come and watch the fun, enjoy the music and bring your own picnic to "The Boat Landing."
What about inclement weather?
A decision will be made at 6:00pm on Friday, June 26 and will be firm. Annoucements will be made through contact e-mails and on this website, or you may call Three Rivers Outfitters at 336.627.6215.
I may have to leave after I get off the river -- what if I win?
You do not have to be present to win, we will contact you!
What if I pre-register and decide not to come?
Thanks for your contribution! Contact our office to pick up your shirt.
What should I bring?
Paddlers should bring a boat, paddle and lifejacket (or rent one), lawn chair or blanket; we also suggest sunscreen and water.
